Shoot, I Had the 49ers and 38 Points
While at a sports apparel store over the weekend, I came across a couple nice Giants and 49ers t-shirts that were marked way down. The only good thing about the times when your teams suck is that you can find their apparel on the clearance rack.
Despite being 14 years removed from the Bay Area, I held my allegiances to the Giants and the 49ers. I was disappointed to find out recently that a high school friend of mine switched from the Giants to the Padres since living in San Diego.
There’s this other guy I know who can’t decide on favorite teams – Falcons, Bears, Carolina Panthers, UVA, Dukies, Tar Heels. Jeez, make up your mind, already. I wouldn’t be surprised if he starts screaming about the Eagles soon.

And another thing...your allegiances to your "hometown team" (a town that you disparage at every turn in favor of Washington), while quaint, is very out of fashion. Just like your "playa hater" attitude towards Washington teams. Since it is clear to all of us who know you that you will die at your desk, firmly ensconced INSIDE the Beltway, it is indeed puzzling that you don't just relax a tad and start rooting for your real "hometown" team. Clearly you prefer not to share the community of sport with your neighbors. Just like a Californian, forever too good to give up the Golden State, forever too stubborn to move back.

Actually, you and Ms. Giant do root for the Caps and the Wizards, but since I don't follow either the NBA or the NHL, they don't count towards refuting my above mentioned arguments.
Let the record show that Mrs. Giant, originally from Ohio, does not support the Tribe, the Cavs, the Browns or the Blue Jackets. Instead, after 10 years in Washington, she is a proud...well...a fan of the Nats and the Caps and may become a Redskins fan just to mess with Giant's head!
